What This Assessment Does

Most people inherit a spiritual identity rather than discover one. They absorb the framework of their upbringing — or reject it wholesale — without ever mapping their own actual landscape. Find Your Spirit is a 35-question assessment that does the mapping. It measures ten dimensions of spiritual orientation: transcendence, embodiment, community, ritual, mystery, ethics, surrender, meaning-making, nature, and lineage.

The result is not a label. It is a topographic map of where you actually live spiritually — which territories feel native, which feel foreign, and which you have been avoiding. The assessment draws on frameworks from transpersonal psychology, contemplative traditions, and twenty-five years of Tony Greenberg's direct engagement with psychedelic medicine, indigenous ceremony, and consciousness research.

The Ten Dimensions

Transcendence measures your orientation toward states beyond ordinary consciousness — whether through meditation, plant medicine, breathwork, or spontaneous mystical experience. Embodiment measures how much your spiritual life lives in the body versus the mind. Community measures whether your practice is solitary or relational by nature.

Ritual measures your relationship to form and repetition. Mystery measures your tolerance for — and attraction to — the unknowable. Ethics measures how central moral action is to your spiritual identity. Surrender measures your capacity to release control to something larger. Meaning-making measures how you construct narrative from experience.

Nature measures the degree to which the natural world is your primary spiritual context. Lineage measures your relationship to inherited tradition — whether you carry it, have broken from it, or are building something new.
